It has emerged that Swedish singer Mans Zelmerlow who won this years Eurovision crown has a homophobic past.
It has emerged that the pop star made a series of homophobic comments just last year on Pluras kök, a sort of televised dinner party, when he declared homosexuality was avvikelse, or “abnormal,” and that gay couples shouldn’t raise children.
Zelmerlow immediately attempted to clarify the remarks saying that while there is “nothing wrong at all” with being gay, the more natural thing is for men and women to procreate.
After backlash, the Swedish singer then subsequently went on to make somewhat of an apology saying “I believe and hope that the vast majority know that I respect differences and all forms of love.”
