Lil Nas X says his “life has come full circle” after he returned to work for Taco Bell – but this time as the fast-food chain’s “chief impact officer.”

First reported by Billboard Lil Nas X was made Taco Bell’s honorary chief impact officer will “play out with a menu of activities, collaborations, and a company-wide push” for his upcoming album Montero.

Promising that Lil Nas X would be cooking up some new “menu innovations” for them, Taco Bell and Lil Nas X will also team up to help young creative talent through the Taco Bell Foundation’s Live Más Scholarship.

Lil Nas X who previously worked at Taco Bell in Atlant, Georgia before rising to fame, joked about revisiting this part of his life on Twitter, retweeted the Billboard article, adding: “life has come full circle, I officially work at taco bell again.”

Speaking about the collaboration, Taco Bell boss Mark King said that Lil Nas X “knows the job, the experience and the culture Taco Bell creates for its fans – including its people.”

“This unique partnership will deliver on more than just marketing, allowing us to tap into the genius of Lil Nas X to inspire our team members and align with our commitment to unlocking opportunities for young people,” King added.

The scholarships given from the Taco Bell Foundation are aimed at young people who are pursuing higher education. The scholarships are also described as not being a “one-off check” however, continued partnerships and collaboration relationships between the foundation and the scholarship’s recipients.
