Opening the 2023 Christchurch Pride Festival, The Walk of Support was a huge success attended by community groups, council, politicians, services, and supporters. The Christchurch Pride Opening Walk of Support concluded at the Bridge of Remembrance with drag shows and a tribute to Georgina Beyer, before the party entered Riverside Markets for more entertainment at the family-friendly Fri-Yay event.
