The Rainbow Games Opening Ceremony was a vibrant celebration of our diverse communities produced by the renowned rainbow DJ, Jordan Eskra, and MC’d by the host with the most, Luke Bird.
The evening featured performances from iconic singer-songwriters Anika Moa and Paige, plus drag stars Kita Mean, Anita Wigl’it, Rita Menu, Hugo Grrrl and Miss Geena.
The event kicked off three days of friendly sporting competition celebrating our rainbow communities at Henderson’s Trusts Arena, featuring 650 competitors from 21 countries.
