The renegade Aussie based troupe, Briefs, opened at the ASB theatre on Wednesday 17 February as part of the Auckland Pride Festival.

Queen Bee Shivana hosted, and was emotional about her first gig in NZ. As a NZ born Samoan, she was proud of her team of 6 boys and their raunchy acts. A sort of raucous Cirque du Soliel microcosm, Briefs was performed in a night club setting with all of the audience on stage sitting at tables around the performers.

A light, bright and fun evening… with enough naughtiness to get the laughs going! The talent of one of the performers was certainly apparent in the two acrobatic acts but it was the opening act with the boys all performing together that was the most stunning, especially when the lights went off!

Briefs is a great night and is well worth seeing before it closes.
