Express recently went to the launch of what is sure to be our favourite drink of the summer. Sadly the lovely Graham Norton couldn’t be there himself, but our own Colin Mathura-Jeffree made an excellent substitute in launching Invivo Wines latest Graham Norton Irish Gin and Pink Gin.

We’re loving pink gin mixed with a splash of prosecco, a handful of raspberries and top-up with soda water – sunshine in a glass.
The Irish Gin is perfect for a contemporary twist on a gin and tonic. Mix with top quality Mediterranean tonic and add a slice of grapefruit and a sprig of thyme – so refreshing.

GIAPO X APEROL SPRITZ

Giapo founders, Giapo and Annarosa

Traditionally, ice-cream has always been used to satisfy our sweet tooth cravings, and cool us down on a hot day. However, since the day Giapo started 12 years ago in Auckland, founders Giapo and his wife Annarosa, have set out one goal: to change ice-cream the way Ice-cream is explored and interacted with. Their latest flavour is inspired by one of the most iconic Italian drinks, Aperol Spritz, to create what they describe as an “Aperitvo in a cone.” The creation has an Aperol flavoured sorbet and is embellished with elements that you would typically see on an antipasto platter!
