A horrific hate-fueled shooter has murdered at least five and injured 18 at a gay nightclub in Colorado, USA.

According to local Police reports, the disgusting attack broke out at Colorado Springs’ Club Q on Saturday, 19 November, and was only stopped thanks to the bravery of several patrons who managed to subdue the Shooter.

Described as an “adult-oriented gay and lesbian nightclub hosting theme nights such as karaoke, drag shows and DJs,” Club Q was the home for many in Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community, leaving many speculating about the motives of the Shooter, despite Police refusing to speculate further.

The Shooter is now in Police custody.
Speaking following the incident, Colorado Springs Police lieutenant Pamela Castro acknowledged the magnitude of the attack explaining, “We will be here for many, many hours to come.”

In a statement on social media, Club Q said it was “devastated by the senseless attack on our community.”

“Our prays and thoughts are with all the victims and their families and friends,” the statement continued.”

“We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack.”

Unconfirmed reports suggest the Club Q shooter was using a “long-Rifle” and picking off his victims like a sniper.
