Rainbow Counsellor Lisa Michelle is here to help with your problems.
I met a cute girl in when I visited Australia in January, and we are “in a relationship” on Facebook. I really like her, and we have talked about a future together, but it’s hard only being able to email and Skype. I want to be able to go on dates and hold her hand and stuff, but of course we can’t. I have other girls asking me out, so do I just forget about my Aussie girlfriend and date someone closer to home?
The fact that you are questioning this at all suggests your spirit is trying to tell you something. It sounds like you have needs that are not being met through a long-distance relationship. You need to decide whether to commit to your girlfriend in Australia, suggest an open relationship between you, or end it altogether. Only you are able to prioritise your needs – both current and future – so only you can make this decision. Go well.
