The Auckland Pride festival has announced two new community forums to be held in October and November.
The community forums have only just been announced after calls from some members of the community to hold them in order to provide feedback into how the festival is run.
The first of the forums will be held on Tuesday 20 October from 6.30pm until 8.30pm and the second on Saturday 14 November from 2pm until 4pm.
Accoridng to Auckland Pride, The information-sharing sessions will “be an opportunity for the community to learn more about the inner-workings of the festival, sign up for volunteer duty as well as offering feedback and suggestions for the future.”
These forums are open to the public however for the purposes of managing numbers, Auckland Pride has requested that people email their RSVP at least 48hrs beforehand to – firstname.lastname@example.org
