As part of Auckland Pride, RainbowYOUTH will be holding their open day this Saturday. This means members of the public can go in and ask questions about what the organisation does, what support it provides, and maybe check out the space.
In addition to its open day, RainbowYOUTH will also be launching an exhibition of its history. Made with the help of Auckland Libraries and West Auckland Research Centre, Know Who You Are, Be Who You Are is comprised of both oral histories from members of the RainbowYOUTH team, as well as archival pictures (like the one shown here). The historical records of the charity’s 28 years will also be available online for people to peruse.
Meet the team and look at the nostalgia at RainbowYOUTH, 10 Abbey Street this Saturday 11 February from 12 to 3 pm.
