Furry Fridays is the Auckland Bear night that takes place on the third Friday of every month. Each month the bears and their admirers take over a different venue for a night of a night of frivolity including prize raffles that raise funds for Bear Week in Auckland Pride Month. “We’re very inclusive,” says organiser Gary Edwards, “all ages, shapes and sizes welcome!”

This month’s event will take place on 17 August at a venue yet to be announced. Join the Bear New Zealand Facebook group to keep updated.
