A 300-strong crowd packed out Phoenix, for Urge’s 21^st Birthday Party. It was the first time the venue had hosted an Urge shindig and the space suited the event well, ‘cuddle room’ and all. Numerous patrons topped their scantily clad bodies with police hats in a sign of solidarity. DJ’s Donald Bennett and Division 4 filled the floor with party bangers, however when Urge owners Alan Granville and Paul Heard graced the stage the music stopped to make way for the loudest, most-manly, interpretation of ‘Happy Birthday’ express had ever heard! Grrr!
