Fair Day is a landmark of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival, the city’s equivalent of our Big Gay Out. Taking place at Victoria Park on Sunday 20 February 2022, the event is a family-friendly rainbow day.
One express contributor who attended and told us New South Wales’ weather was sizzling that day and queues for food and drinks were very long, but despite these setbacks, a good time was had by all.
Auckland’s Big Gay Out was cancelled this year due to ‘Red Alert’ level Covid settings. Wellington’s Out In The Park/City is due to happen as part of a postponed festival in September.
