David Mundell, conservative Scottish MP and current Secretary of State, has publicly announced that he is gay. Since the announcement, Mundell, 53, has been meet with praise by both British Prime Minister David Cameron and Scottish National Party leader Nicola Sturgeon. Mundell is the first openly LGBTI+ MP to sit on the cabinet.
